Celebrating one year of DisplayNote Training Academy

Zarah Akilagun Sep 25, 2024

The DisplayNote Training Academy (DN Academy) has become a fundamental space for users to go to, to understand how to get the most out of the DisplayNote solutions. Whether it’s installation guides, advice on features or videos to follow along with, there are multiple formats for learning.

To celebrate one successful year of the Academy, Customer Success Manager, Lianne Cassidy shares her thoughts on the initial idea, the success to date and future plans.

What was the vision behind setting up the DN Academy?

We wanted one space for users to go to understand how to get the most out of their DisplayNote solutions. Whether it was installation guides, advice on features or videos to follow along with. It was key for me, that we offered learning in multiple formats, so educators, presenters and IT managers could learn independently, in a way that suited them.

What have been some of the key milestones or achievements for the academy since its launch to help support the education sector?

For me it’s been the feedback, we’ve been lucky enough to hear how helpful our academy has been to teachers, trainers and presenters who use these solutions everyday but weren’t aware of the full functionality available to them.

Are there particular parts of the DN Academy site that education professionals are finding particularly useful?

I think the Ways to Connect and the My Lesson pages are really popular for educators. For understanding how to achieve the functionality they want, and how to apply this solution to their daily life, these pages have been great.

How has the feedback from the educational professionals shaped the evolution of DN Academy?

The Academy was born from feedback; we’re always reviewing what users want before deciding how to proceed. We want the Academy to be a functional and helpful resource for everyday use.

I think the Ways to Connect and the My Lesson pages are really popular for educators. For understanding how to achieve the functionality they want, and how to apply this solution to their daily life, these pages have been great.

Looking ahead, what are your plans for the future of DN Academy in the coming year to further serve the education sector?

We’ve so much in store for teachers! We’ve been looking into a What’s Coming page, to reassure users that functionality they’re asking for is on the horizon. We also want to expand the teacher journey. So, educators, know the best way they should connect, control, cast and collaborate compared to enterprise users or students themselves.
