08/01/2018 - DisplayNote is making it easier for users to present, share content, and collaborate in real-time. Founded in 2012, we seek to address issues with existing wireless presentation systems and vendor-centric, hardware-only offerings, which can be cumbersome and a hindrance to collaboration.
To address this challenge, we’ve set out to improve the flow of information and the way that content is shared across devices, networks, and locations, eliminating the need to email files and pass around cables.
DisplayNote competes with larger, well-entrenched vendors that are investing heavily to maintain their dominant positions. This represents a significant challenge for the company. However, the fact that the incumbents are aggressively working to update their offerings can be seen as tacit acknowledgement that their products will be replaced in the near term. DisplayNote has a differentiated offering, and the company has been skilful in developing an effective go-to-market strategy, establishing partnerships with leading manufacturers of display technology. These factors make DisplayNote a strong contender and a serious challenger to the incumbents in the space.
