They will bundle DisplayNote with all of their interactive touch displays shipping in North America. DisplayNote build products that reshape collaboration and make it easier to share information and ideas. Currently there are solutions for collaborative white-boarding, real-time document editing, team messaging and wireless presentation. The company have strengthened and added to their list of OEM partners for their DisplayNote application, a solution that has transformed how presenters and educators share content with multiple mobile devices. That agreement will also see the application included on NEC’s range of interactive displays and projectors shipping worldwide in 2016.
Toshiyuki Katsube, Manager at Product Planning Division at NEC said: “Mobile devices and displays are moving beyond just showing content in the meeting room but being more collaborative and interactive. For us the DisplayNote solution is transforming devices and screens into collaboration mediums and that’s a big differentiator between NEC Displays and our competitors.”
At ISE (Europe’s biggest AV and systems integration show), in February, DisplayNote launched Montage, a wireless presentation solution designed to make meeting spaces and huddle rooms as productive and effective as possible. The launch followed the announcement, in Jan 2016, of a multi-million dollar distribution deal with Sahara Plc for the distribution of Montage in the UK.
Following the launch, DisplayNote can announce that they have agreed distribution and reseller agreements with channel partners across the world.
New channel partners at time of writing include:
“Everything we do is designed to improve how people share information and ideas,” said DisplayNote Technologies CEO, Paul Brown. “That could be a presenter sharing content on a touch screen with the mobile devices of meeting attendees, distributed groups sharing what’s on their devices to a main meeting room screen or teams messaging on their devices and coming together to co-edit documents in real-time.
“To address the growing need of making interactive displays, meeting spaces and huddle rooms more collaborative and productive, DisplayNote Technologies will work closely with all our partners to reshape and improve how we connect, collaborate and communicate on ideas and information.”
“We will continue to grow our network of value-added channel partners, add to our list of enterprise customers and create solutions to the problems those customers are facing.”
Ed van Domburg, CEO Van Domburg Partners, Netherlands said : “With the addition of Montage to our product & solution portfolio, we offer a truly new and innovative way of wireless presentation and collaboration. Together with DisplayNote Technologies we can make the difference in collaboration solutions for our partners. “
Madison General Manager of Broadcast & Audio Visual Technologies at Madison Technologies, Australia Ken Kyle said: “We’re very excited about bringing Montage into the marketplace. We’re confident that our partnership will deliver widespread adoption of Montage as the enterprise standard solution for wireless collaboration.”
Ingo Reiss, General Manager at EasyLamps, France said, “In the past year, the collaborative tools for meeting rooms has become a hot topic. Our AV resellers meet a growing demand from the field, it seems this industry has gone now beyond the stage of the early adopters. We have tested most of the products on the market and very naturally we wanted to distribute Montage from DisplayNote. In our opinion, it is the most efficient collaborative tool for businesses.”
