DisplayNote has announced a partnership with Horion that brings DisplayNote Launcher to Horion interactive flat panel displays, combining Horion hardware with DisplayNote software to create a simpler and more consistent meeting-room experience.

The collaboration brings together Horion's interactive display technology and DisplayNote's experience layer for shared spaces, helping organisations reduce the friction that can arise when users need to access conferencing platforms, room calendars and other meeting tools across different rooms and environments.

With DisplayNote Launcher available on Horion displays, users can access supported conferencing applications, view room calendars and launch frequently used tools directly from the display. Meeting schedules can also be surfaced within the Launcher interface, while one-touch meeting access is designed to reduce the number of steps required to start or join a call.

For DisplayNote, the partnership reflects a broader focus on the software experience that sits between meeting-room hardware and the people using it. While organisations continue to invest in displays, conferencing platforms and collaboration tools, the experience in the room can still become fragmented when users are required to navigate different interfaces, workflows and systems.
