Meet the team: Sarah Campbell

It’s no secret that the DisplayNote Team is growing, and as part of that growth, we’re happy to welcome Sarah to the DisplayNote Marketing Team in Belfast as our new Digital Marketing Specialist.

I asked Sarah a few questions to learn about life before DisplayNote, what she’s hoping to bring to the new role, and just to get to know her better.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for having a chat with me. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself…

I’m Sarah also known as ‘Aunty Saz’ or Soupy! I would love to say I’m still young enough to be a recent graduate but unfortunately, I have recently hit the 30’s club and realised it’s nearly 10 years from I did leave university!

I have a strong background in events management that then led me into the marketing field. I have had multiple marketing roles across exciting industries including retail, finance, manufacturing, tech and recruitment. In the last few years I have gained a passion in digital marketing especially utilising marketing data – this makes me sound more geeky than I actually am!

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time spoiling my cheeky (cute) two-and-a-half-year-old nephew, travelling with my other half (we go on city breaks any chance we get) and going to the gym pretending I’m some sort of strong independent women when really, I spend most of the gym classes I do walking around and socialising!

What 3 words would your friends use to describe you?

I’m hoping that they would say friendly and supportive. If I had to guess though a lot of them would say I need to lower my ‘inside voice’ especially with a few cocktails in me!

What attracted you to working at DisplayNote?

I love working in the Tech world with software solutions.

And what are you planning to bring to the team?

Insights into the customer journey via digital marketing tactics.

You’re in your favourite coffee shop; what are you ordering?

Vanilla latte or if I really want lots of unnecessary calories a large Frappe!

You’ve been given a free holiday – where are you off to?

Italy – the most beautiful country in the world.

What 3 items are you bringing to a desert island?

Crisps (who doesn’t love a wee snack!), hand sanitiser (Covid era still drilled into me!) and vaseline (nothing worse than dry cracked lips!).

Is there anything you’re looking forward to trying or discovering in your new role?

Working with colleagues in Belfast and Spain.
